The Doctoral Consortium is a special session of the conference where Ph.D. students in the early phases of their research can receive advice in a constructive atmosphere. Students present and discuss their research with other Ph.D. students and a panel of established researchers in the area of persuasive technology.
Students interested in participating in the Doctoral Consortium should submit a 3-page project abstract, describing their research question(s), its position with respect to the state of the art, their research plans and methodology, ideas, and results achieved so far.
Accepted abstracts will be included in the Doctoral Consortium session after successful registration. The panel of established researchers will read these abstracts, and after a Ph.D. student’s presentation (closely linked to the abstract), the panel will give the Ph.D. student feedback on scientific contributions, future directions, methodology, etc.
